Animal ID: Bul002Magnolia (female)

Bulldog    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Four year old Magnolia was handed over the counter at a Florida panhandle Shelter, she was given up by her family who didn't care much about her destiny, but their loss is our gain! Magnolia is a super sweet, quiet and very energetic English Bulldog weighing in at about 50 pounds. She loves to go for lots of walks and loves to be in the company of her people- wherever we are - there she is, she always wants to be near us, but is very good in her crate with the door open- she enjoys her 'nesting' crate, she will need to have access to a crate with comfy bedding in her new home. No cats or other pets in the home or outside, no kids (now or in ... (Read More)the future) or dogs or other pets (now or in the future) she has a high prey-drive and she'll need obedience training to continue into her new home. She's up to date on her shots, microchipped, crate and house broken, heartworm negative and on heart worm preventative. Magnolia needs an English Bulldog experienced home. If you do not have specifically 'English Bulldog' experience do not apply to adopt her. She needs a fenced in yard (no electric fences) and an athletic adopter as she has a lot of energy. If you are looking for a loving happy and upbeat companion to brighten up your days, Magnolia may be the dog for you. If you have any questions (and you meet all of the above requirements to adopt her) please contact Nancy at JNFreitag@yahoo.com. (Less)

Animal ID: Weim 184ARI (male)

Weimaraner Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

We have another beauty this is ARI a Weimaraner.Lab Mix He is 7 months old, Ari has a nice temperament, He has beautiful Weimy features and traits, he has beautiful white teeth and amber eyes. Ari`s story )))) Ari didn't have a great start to his life at just over 2 months old we pulled him from an Alabama kill shelter, Ari was taken to our Georgia base when he was picked up he was so scared and for a few weeks if anyone approached him he would roll over and wet himself, Ari got much better over the weeks and would play with our other dogs. We fully vetted Ari and last month brought him to our Florida base where he is at the moment, His ... (Read More)transformation has been wonderful he is no longer the scared boy we rescued his confidence has grown daily, He is still cautious around new people but quickly warms up. He is enjoying running and playing with the others and he loves to wrestle with them and play ball. We are now searching for a wonderful Weimaraner family for Ari, A family that has time to invest in this special boy so we are looking for someone that is home most of the day and will include him in daily activities, Ari is learning new things here like most Weimaraners he dosent listen unless he wants to a change of tone in your voice normally works. We love to see him developing his Weimy traits he loves to snuggle on the sofa or cuddle on your bed with you and have belly rubs Ari is not boisterous around the house and will happily nap on a day bed after playtime, and loves nothing more than having a cuddle he loves to be hugged he is now enjoying what he should have had as a younger puppy, He loves playing with the other dogs his and being around humans he trusts. We have kept Ari busy he is a pup and will need stimulation toys to keep him occupied so he dosent chew or get into mischief. He is a good boy in the car he loves to ride with you. Ari is up to date on all shots, Neutered. heart worm negative up to date on monthly prevention's and micro chipped. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Ari a wonderful forever home where he can have stability and security in his life. We are looking for a forever home that can cherish him and love him as much as we do, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We don't ever want to see this boy in a shelter. Ari is so lovable, and needs a lot of cuddles. Ari will blossom with the right interaction, A home with a fenced in yard, acreage where he can run and play is ESSENTIAL He would do well with another dog around his size as a companion. He would love a Sister. A family that is home most of the time would work best for Ari he dosent like to be alone for long periods and crating would NOT work for him. We do not crate our dogs So if you work from 9-5 Ari is not the boy for you. Ari dosent need a crate and that would be alien to him. He dosent need a lot he just needs the love and consistency of a loving family. He may need a little discipline he is still a pup he knows some commands and we are working on others NO CATS for Ari and no toddlers he is great with children but he needs the attention. Most of all Ari loves to be with his family and included he loves the parks beach running on nature trails. He will sleep on the sofa or better still like all Weims he loves to sleep on your bed and snuggle so if you don't like a dog on your furniture or bed Ari is not for you. It is wise to remember that Ari is still a pup and needs a little guidance and a lot of interaction.Ari is not a trophy or designer dog he is a boy with feelings and needs. To adopt Ari it is a long time commitment of at least 12 yrs. Could you be the one to open up your heart and home, and make Ari`s life complete, if so you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure. If you would like more information , photos or meet Ari please email us at info@lifelinedogrescue.org Ari is currently in the Inverness area. If you would like to Adopt Ari and you have fully read his bio please complete our Adoption Request form the link is here. http://www.lifelinedogrescue.org/services/adopt/adoption-form (Less)

Animal ID: Weim183Bedford (male)

Weimaraner    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This Stunning Boy is Bedford a gorgeous purebred grey ghost Weimaraner. Bedford has just turned 10 yrs old, He has a wonderful temperament, a handsome Weimy boy tall and approx 75lbs He has beautiful soulful amber eyes that show so much love. Bedfords`s story )))) We dont know much about Bedfords prior life what we do know is that he was picked up by animal control as a stray with another dog a spaniel, He was taken to the local shelter in Louisiana Bedford was scanned and found to have a microchip his owners were contacted and they said they didn't want them, I cannot understand why Bedford is a wonderful boy very low key until he has a ... (Read More)ball and then he comes to life, Bedford stayed at the kill shelter where we pulled him out and transported him to our base in Florida his transporters just loved him, He arrived and for the first 24 hours he was anxious but he quickly settled into his new temporary life, Bedford is a well mannered boy and so loving he is happy being around his humans all he wants is a family that will love him and play for a while he is very low maintenance sometimes I don't know I have him until he quietly nuzzles up to me for a reassuring cuddle. We are now searching for a wonderful home for Bedford a home that is filled with love and a Weimaraner family that truly understands our breed a family that will love Bedford as much as we do and can give him a wonderful life in his golden years, We are looking for a family that is home most of the time Bedford loves his humans and dosent like to be apart from you for long hours, We do not crate our dogs and we are looking for a family that will not crate, Bedford like most weims loves to go for car rides and he is excellent in the car he likes to sniff the air and put his head out of the window, Bedford loves the freedom to be able to run and potter around he does run with the others but prefers one on one ball or Frisbee time. He is happy sitting around and watching the others, Bedford is up to date on all shots, neutered. heart worm negative and micro chipped. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home He loves home comforts. We are looking to find Bedford a wonderful Weimy forever home where he can have stability and security in his life. A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We don't ever want to see this boy back in rescue or a shelter. Bedford is so lovable, and loves cuddles. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities. He will shine with the right interaction. A home with a fenced in yard Pool Lanai or acreage where he can run and play is ESSENTIAL He would be fine with another Weim or as an only boy with lots of interaction. An older female Weim would be perfect. Bedford is with 14 other dogs both male and female and he gets on fine with them all but a quieter home environment would be better for him Not a lot of dogs so he dosent feel the need to compete for attention. A family that is home most of the time would work best for Bedford he dosent like to be alone for long periods, Bedford is certainly a people boy he dosent need a lot just needs the love and consistency of a loving family. We would say NO CATS for Bedford he has not been tested but by nature Weimaraners do not usually get along with cats unless they are brought up with them and no toddlers he is fine with children but young ones that are not disciplined may be a little too much for him. Bedford likes home comforts just like all Weims so if you don't like a dog on your furniture or bed then Bedford is not for you, An older family would work best for Bedford someone that has time and love to invest, Could you be the one to open up your heart and home, and make Bedfords`s life complete, if so you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure. If you would like more information , photos or meet Bedford please email us at info@lifelinedogrescue.org Bedford is currently in the Inverness area.     Orlando, FL: LoveBug (Bug) is an 8 month old Terrier Mix who was purchased out of the trunk of a car in Georgia as a puppy. Animal ID: EBD001BYRON (male)

Bulldog    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Female Dogs Only, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Byron was picked up as a stray from a NW Florida Shelter. Nobody came to claim him and it is really baffling why because he is such a good boy who could have possibly given him up. He is loving, playful and sweet as can be. He rolls over for belly rubs when you pass by him. He loves being around people and greets strangers with his little wagging nubby tail. He had terrible skin dermatitis on his neck when he first came into rescue but that is pretty much all healed and his fur is growing back nicely now. He also had an eye infection in his right eye but that too has been taken care of. Byron is about 5-6 years old, neutered, up to date on ... (Read More)his shots, Heartworm negative, on preventative and he is microchipped. He is crate and house trained, walks well on lead, knows a few basic commands and is a joy to have around. Kids 10 and older and he will do well with well behaved female dogs with a slow and proper introduction. Byron needs someone who knows the breed and knows about their upkeep so past English Bulldog experience is a must, if you have not had an english bulldog you will not be considered for adoption, so please do not submit an application if you have no past EBD experience. If interested in Byron please submit an adoption application. If you have any questions please contact Nancy at JNFreitag@yahoo.com. (Less)
