Our boys just keep getting better, this gorgeous Puppy boy is Chevron that is not his real name its an identification as we have 5 beautiful males from this litter. Chevron weighs in at 17lb he is 11 weeks old. He is a little gem. Chevron is a total cutie and super sweet. After 7 ... (Read More)weeks mommy was sore from feeding and 9 pups were difficult to manage both the owners worked a full time job. The owners reached out to us and we agreed to take them into our program. Not a great start to a pups life but we aim to change that. So what can I tell you about Chevron well he is a healthy 17lbs. Chevron is the cuddle bug out of the bunch always there for tummy rubs and cuddles. He is the smartest out of the pups and quickly learn t the art of climbing out of the pen He does like to play in the yard and sometimes he will sit quietly and watch all the big boys and girls at play. He loves a cuddle and will give you kisses. Chevron will be a big boy we estimate that he could reach 75-85lb. The Weimaraner Rhodesian mix holds many similarities. Both are hunters and both love being around their humans. We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for Chevron. A home that will give him stability and security and active life he needs This boy is so lovable and he deserves a family that will give him the love and attention he deserves. Chevron will warm to you and just melt your heart. He has not learn t to walk on a leash yet right now he just loves to be picked up and carried. He knows when its feed time Chevron is not crate trained we do not keep the pups in crates they have the enjoyment and freedom to roam in the yard, at night he sleeps in the pen with all the others. The pups are a happy bunch. Its so hard not to fall in love with this boy. Chevron is neutered, current on all vaccinations and he is micro.chipped. We are looking to find Chevron a wonderful forever home where he can have stability and security in his life. We are looking for a forever home that can cherish him and give him the love and attention he needs, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities. Bones will blossom he will go from awesome to super awesome with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect the breed do not like to be apart from you for hours on end. We are looking for a family that is familiar with the Weimaraner or Rhodesian breed. A home with a fenced in yard or acreage where he can run and play is essential he is going to be a big boy. Another dog would work for him to play with he has had lots of socialization with us and has had other dogs around him. Chevron is just gorgeous. His personality will develop over the next few months the breed are intelligent and fast learners and they will easily fit into your routine. Chevron is a cute pup we are not looking for someone to take him as a gift for a child because they want a puppy. This boy is going to be large once he is out of the cute puppy stage, we are looking much further this is a long commitment a life commitment of 10-12yrs. Animal ID: Weim159SARGE (male)

Weimaraner    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This handsome boy is SARGE a gorgeous purebred Blue Weimaraner.sARGE weighs in at 70lb HE IS 2 yrs old, He has A nice temperament, and beautiful Weimy features He is blessed with stunning good looks, and beautiful soulful amber eyes that show so much love it almost hurts to look at him. Sarge` s story )))) Sarge is a wonderful boy that found himself in a high kill shelter in Alabama , He was reported as a stray so not much is known of his previous life. We transported him to Florida and placed him in foster care for evaluation. Sarge is a big puppy boy and loves nothing more than to play with his humans. He is a little nervous around ... (Read More)strangers and other dogs initially but once he gains your trust he will play and cuddle up to you all day long. I believe that once he understands who is part of his world, that nervousness will disappear. We are aware of this problem and pay special attention in situations where he may come in contact with new dogs or people, just so we can observe his reaction and remain in control. He is is not an excessive barker but when he barks its a loud deep bark that makes you sit up and take notice. Strange noises and new situations can, of course, illicit a bark, but he doesn't do it to get attention. Like many dogs, Sarge reacts to sirens occasionally. His head goes up and he purses his lips and lets out a very wolfish howl. He loves to eat but has no apparent food aggression. We have taken his food from him and touched him while he eats and he has never growled or made any moves against us. Also, Sarge does not hover around the table while we eat. He will 'go lay down' when told to do so. He has proven that he knows 'sit', 'lay down', 'stay', 'come', 'paw', 'goose', 'off', and 'high five.' He learns best through observing another dog do the tricks first but is still a very quick study on his own. He is smart and a fast learner. He is not much for swimming but is good when it comes to having a bath, which speaks to his tolerance for his 'people.' At first, he was scared to get in our car, or to play with any of the dog toys in the house, but we built his confidence and now he will let us do anything we want to him, such as give him a bath. He trusts us and feels comfortable as long as we show him that he will be alright. He has never chewed anything in the house or yard that was not his to chew, such as a shoe. He carries dog toys in his mouth all day and is happy to chew them up, but that is what the toys are for. Sarge pulls on the leash at the beginning of a walk but calms down after a few minutes and walks much better He loves to sit and cuddle and will gladly be a 70 lb. lap dog if you let him. Sarge takes food from your hand and plays with the utmost gentleness and care. He is aware that he could do harm but is very cautious to be sure that he doesn't. Sarge is up to date on all shots, neutered. heart worm negative and micro chipped. Sarge is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Sarge a wonderful forever home where he can have stability and security in his life.We are looking for a forever home that can cherish him and give him the love and attention he needs, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We don't ever want to see this boy back in a shelter. Sarge is so lovable, and needs a lot of cuddles. A family that will include him in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect Sarge will blossom with the right interaction. A home with a fenced in yard Pool Lanai or acreage where he can run and play is ESSENTIAL He would do well with another dog as a companion or as an only dog with lots of interaction. He would love a female. A family that is home most of the time would work best for Sarge he dosent like to be alone for long periods and crating would NOT work for this boy. Sarge is certainly a people boy once he gets over is initial nervousness. Sarge dosent need a lot he just needs the love and consistency of a loving family. Could you be the one to open up your heart and home, and make Sarge`s life complete, if so you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure. If you would like more information , photos or meet Sarge please contact us on 863-582-2150 or email us at info@lifelinedogrescue.org Sarge is currently in the Tampa area. If you would like to Adopt Sarge please complete our Adoption Request form the link is here. http://www.lifelinedogrescue.org/services/adopt/adoption-form (Less)

Animal ID: Weim 154GINGER (female)

Weimaraner Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Our Weims just keep getting better, this sweet girl is GINGER a gorgeous Weimaraner Lab Mix. Ginger is a slight girl weighs in at 40lb, she is 2yrs old, she has beautiful features. Unique in color Ginger is a gorgeous chestnut shade. She is blessed with stunning good looks, gorgeous white teeth, and beautiful sea green eyes that just melt your heart. GINGERS`S story starts here )))Ginger came to us from Mississippi, she was turned into a Mississippi kill shelter by her owner.Ginger became urgent and was put on the to be Euthanized list. We pulled Ginger to safety and placed her with a Mississippi foster while we arranged transport from ... (Read More)Mississippi to us in Central Florida. Ginger has been through evaluation and are pleased with the outcome. After her initial transition Ginger has settled in well. Ginger is a shy girl but will warm to you she enjoys playing with the other younger dogs she loves to run and play, On the flip side she is happy to snuggle up next to her humans, she is a loving gir and like all weimies she loves attention. She is a calm girl sometimes a little timid when out of her comfort zone. We brought Ginger into Lifeline so we could find the perfect family for her and we are now searching for that wonderful forever home. A home that will give her stability and security and life she needs. Ginger is so lovable she deserves a family that will give her the love and attention she deserves. Like most Weimaraners she loves to be around humans and will follow you around, she is a Velcro girl. she likes to go for walks and she just loves the beach and nature trails where she can run free, she knows commands sit stay & down, Like most Weimaraners she likes car rides and she is excellent in the car she just sits quietly. Ginger is not crate trained she has never been in a crate while she has been with us A crate would be alien to her and more than likely bring on stress. We would prefer an adopter that would not crate her. At night time she will sleep on a sofa or a bed however she just loves to sleep on your bed she loves to be close to her humans and loves to cuddle a typical Weimy girl. During the day she loves to sit on the sofa so if you don't like a dog on your sofa this girl is NOT for you. Ginger is housebroken, she will go to the door when she needs to go out to potty. she is good at bath times but not crazy about the shower. Its so hard not to fall in love with this girl And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about her. Ginger is spayed, current on all vaccinations Heart worm negative , micro.chipped and is up to date on monthly preventative. she is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Ginger a wonderful forever home where he can have stability love and security in her life. We are looking for a forever home that can cherish her and give her the attention she needs, A family that is really stable and can give her that forever home that means forever. A family that will include her in their lifestyle and activities. Ginger will blossom with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for Ginger like most Weims she dosent like to be apart from you for hours on end. A home with a fenced in yard, screened in pool lanai or acreage where she can run and play is ESSENTIAL. Ginger would like another dog to play with with a young male would be perfect. She would be fine as an only dog with lots of love and interaction. Ginger can be shy at first and appear a little timid around some people, sometimes she will hide out of the way. We have no idea what went on in her previous home and can only evaluate that she didn't have the best of life. Ginger quickly perks up when she has a young male companion. If you think that you have what it takes for this awesome little Weim/Lab girl and can open your your heart and home, to make Gingers`s life complete you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure.
